How does this 383 sound?
10.5:1 compression
edelbrock Etec heads
248/248 525"/525" comp magnum cam
1.5 roller rockers
edelbrock rpm air gap vortec intake
holley 750 v/s
mallory distributor
how much power will this 383 have? and what do you think of the cam? I will be running a th350 with 3200stall and 4.10s

3200 stall? Forget the vac sec carb- put a double pumper on it. Streetability isn't going to be improved much on a combo like that with a VS carb.
Similar combo in my buddy's all steel (heavy) 72 Chevelle goes 12.2 @ 110-111.
383ci
Dart Pro1 heads (box stock) 200cc, 72cc chambers, 10:1 compression
Comp Cams XE282 solid flat tappet cam (244/252 @ .050) with 1.5 rockers
Weiand Team G single plane intake (RPM or Vic Jr. would probably work just as well)
800 double pumper
MSD Pro Billet HEI
no-name 3000 stall converter in cheap performance built TH-350 automatic
3.73 rear gears
275 Drag Radials, boxed and bushed stock control arms. 1.80 60 foot times.
That's about it. Really nothign special about the combo. No trick parts, no custom porting or machine work. True bolt-together. Carb even runs with box stock calibration- never even played with the jetting. Turn the key, rip off a low 12, drive it home.
