Why does my car stall????
It will run for a couple minutes then stall,it stalls at idle and only runs at higher rpms for a few minutes before ****ting out,and sometimes when driving at 50-60mph the gas pedal does not respond and it downshifts when I give it gas,it is not the transmissiopn though cause it works fine,we just replaced the fuel pump a moth ago,and the ignition module crapped out a few times before,it is one of these, what do you guys think????

What kind of engine? A little more info would help too. Did you check for codes? Try all the little things first, especially sensors. Those little things can cause a world of trouble.
It could be the fuel filter. Could be the CTS. What do you reckon are the odds of the FP being bad? I know you just replaced it, but it seriously sounds like youre having a fuel delivery problem. Which isnt very complex. Fuel Pump, Fuel line, fuel filter, fuel Pressure Regulator, and injectors.
Just my thoughts.
Good luck

Check your fuel pressure first. Did you replace the fuel filter when you changed the fuel pump? If pressure is good, check out your MAF sensor.

In order to determine what sensors could be crapping out you need to pull the codes out of the ECM. Do you know how to do this?

Usually when they stall, no codes are set...
I'd buy a fuel pressure guage, hook it up, run it under your pass wiper so you could watch it while driving...
If your fp stays rock steady (while stalling) I'd suspect a bad MAF (code 34 trying to set, especially on a 2.8 or 3.1, but you say you have an iroc so... I'd doubt it on a hot wire MAF) or pickup coil.
A scan tool would really help out...

Yea, mine has never thrown a code when it stalls. Hooked it up to a scanner twice and never showed anything. The third time it was hooked to the scanner it showed a bad CTS. There are several things it could be though. Good luck.
