The switches were a bitch to get lined up properly. I still have to jiggle the shifter sometimes to get the neutral safety switch to engage so I can start the car. Other than that it was a straightfoward job.

No problems at all except for what Bull88 said, the **** will turn around some if you don't lock-it down with something.

My only complaints are that the shifter cable sheathing was broken right out of the box, and that my whole console lifts up when I downshift. Other than that, I'm happy with it. It's comfortable, looks good in my interior, and works well.

The only problem I've had was the same as Bull88 and Baz89- that is, if you can call it a problem. I just had to get a tube of Loctite; it's been fine ever since. My first rubber shift boot also cracked to hell; I assume it was because I Armor-all'd it. I bought a replacement from B&M, and after 3 years, it has a few minor cracks. I haven't brought Armor all anywhere near it.

I had the same problem with the shifter **** but loctite cured that problem. The only other thing I found out, the HARD WAY, is to not let the shifter sit in the sun. That is if you don't mind having B&M branded into your hand backwards!

Another problem I had is that the aluiminum paint on the **** has almnost entirely rubbed off. I had originally thought that the **** was polished aluminum but it looks like they just painted it with shiny paint that looks like aluminum. What a bitch.
