check out my combo
ok guys i pretty much have all the parts to put this thing together but here it is. i thought i would run it past you guys and see how you like it.
350- 4 bolt main

Why vacuum secondaries? Are you going to be doing some towing with this engine?

well i got the carb for 25 buck barley used you can't go wrong with that. and i think with some tuning i can get it to were i want it also ohh and add to the list

You could always adjust the secondaries with an adjustable vacuum unit. Come to think of it, why isn't there a linkage to make a VS to a DP when you floor it, like a "kickdown" function. That wouldn't bee too hard hard to make....I think. Any thought's?
The combo looks good to me, but maybe a bit high operating range on the cam perhaps? I don't know if that's considered a good performace cam or if it's a very radical one. But anyway seems a bit much, especially since you didn't mention putting in larger valves or anything..
