How to go from a factory hyd roller setup to a solid roller setup??

What do I need to make the conversion from the factory hydra roller setup on a ZZ4 shortblock to a solid roller setup? Do I need special lifters to clear the bores on the factory roller block? What about the cam reatiner plate?? Can I still use it? What timing chain and thrust button/bearing do I need??

I was going to be using the CompCams XR280R cam.

change the cam and lifters...along with the springs..since its a roller the retaining plate doesnt have to worried about

I hear you need special lifters for a 87-up factory roller block due to the lifter bores being taller?

Should just be the lifters/springs/cam that needs to be changed...

Yes you have to get +.300" taller lifters to clear the taller roller block lifter bores.
