Is it possible to take door pins out??

Is it possible to take the door pins out without taking the doors off first and if so is there some kind of special tool for this. I am talking about on a thirdgen camaro.
Thanks

I've replaced the bushings on the lower hinge. It was a PITA to get the pin out. I popped the spring out but in order to put it back in you will need a GM door spring tool ($<20). I used a dremel to cut the pin in half so i could work on each pressed end of the pin separately. Good luck using a punch and a hammer to remove it as easily as it looks. I had to remove my side ground effects, door sill trim, kick panels. And to replace the bushings I needed to remove the door hinge on the car side.

Sounds familiar. I did that, make sure you compare to the passenger side door (bushing placement). The two are different, so they should both fit snug into the hinge. Good luck trying it without the tool unless you dont mind big scratches from other prying tools in your doorjamb. A short crappy flatblade screwdriver worked here for me for knocking these loose, look in the doorjamb and you'll see what I mean.
