Do your wheels lockup?

I was going about 45 and had to stop FAST, I slammed the brakes as hard as I could and my wheels didnt lockup. It stopped decently fast but shouldnt they lock up?

If they should, what should I look into?

Mine do, but only after I serviced the whole brake system. Get good pads (I prefer Raybestos Brutestop Carbon Metallics), replace the rubber brake lines with braided steel lines, and completely flush the brake system out with good fresh brake fluid. For the brake fluid use a good synthetic. (I prefer Valvoline Syntech) If you switch to synthetic flushing the system out completely is a must, synthetic and petroleum based fluids don't mix well.

I locked up all 4 wheels little over a month ago and that had never happend before... although, I've never had to panic stop like that before LOL stupid people pulling out of their driveway right in front of me Stock brakes and have no idea how old the pads are.. did a inspection on them and they seem to be about half way used.

Using cheap a$$ autozone replacement pads and mine lock up just fine, a little to easy if you ask me.
I don't understand the comment about people saying these cars are hard to lock up. I am the original owner of my car and from day one, it has been easy to lock it down. Good thing that it tracks straight during a four wheel slide.

I used to have no problem locking them up... but since swapping engines last week-end I can't do it anymore... I am wondering if it is something about the master cylinder vacuum or something....
