Timing chain would be a good idea probably, but since you plan to keep the car as a stock daily driver, I say "if it aint broke dont fix it". You'll have to take the oil pan off to get the timing cover off, as well as most the accessories so you can get the water pump off. Then you have to make sure the cam and crank dont get nudged a tooth off when you re-assemble.
I'd stick with replacing valve seals. At which time you might as well go ahead and get new valves, and keepers.
You'll just need 2 sets of intake valve seals... the positive style. They work fine for the exhaust as well from what I'm told.

I dont have the part numbers off hand, sorry.
The keepers are also known as the valve locks.
Yes, you can take the springs off w/o taking the head off. There's a little "claw" valve spring remover that you can get from craftsman. If you look at the two types there's one that's a head off the motor that looks like an overside c-clamp, then there's the one that's on the head that is like a claw.
Sorry I'm not much help... it's late lol.

I'd leave the chain alone, all steel gears and good chain, will wear some but not usually a problem, and changing it can cause problems sometimes as noted above. Fel Pro makes positive seals for these engines, intake and exhaust. Got mine at Advance Auto parts. They have the seal over the valve guide and the o-ring too, both on each valve. Don't have the numbers right now, look back tomorrow. Not an easy job with engine in car.

One set is the intake, other set is exhaust, all have both the o-rings and umbrella seals that slip over the guides. My guides were factory machined for seals so I'd assume yours are too. My engine didn't have the umbrella seals on the exhaust, just the o-rings but I figured after 100K miiles it would be a good idea. My guides, seats, and valves were in really good shape even so. I was thinking about a new set of heads but these were so good I couldn't throw them out.
