Car dying need help

Problem: Car dies when more than about 1/4 throttle is applied, or if i coast the car up to speed, after it hits second gear if not before it will cut out a couple times and die.

Car starts normal and will sit at idol fine. Only once i do the above will it die.

Car Facts: It does have the original fule pump. There is no check engine light coming on. Has a new cap and rotor, new plugs and wires, new ignition coil, new alternator, new battery, new ignition switch.

Ideas: I have a feeling it is the fuel pump but im confused by it. If the pump was going out why would it start and idol? Wouldnt the car have more trouble starting? I am not thinking it is something electrical due to the fact that there is no check engine light coming on.

Anyone have any ideas or input that could help me trouble shot this. Thanks

Get a fuel pressure gage on it and monitor under the trouble conditions.

it sure soungs like a clogged fuel filter 10.00 $ could be your best and least exspensive start

fuel starvation :check flow, tpi should put out about 1/2 pint in 15 sec. no smoking!!

check for a vacuum leak. and get a vacuum gauge out. also u might be getting oil mixed in with the fuel.

Well after it sat all day i went out there and replaced the fuel filter just cause it was easy. Seemed to be fine after i did that but it came back. Wierd thing is that it wasnt as bad as before. I didnt buy a fuel pressure guage yet but ill prob get it checked tomarrow. I looked around for a vaccum leak on it but couldnt see anything obvious. After i drove it around for a bit and had it cut out a couple times i let it sit at idol. It was cutting out then too but not to the extent of having the car completly die, it would catch itself.
