O2 bung PLUGS?

I need a threaded plug for the oxygen sensor bung- where can I get one? I was using a 3/8" pipe plug but it fell out (it's not wide enough). I don't happen to have my O2 sensor laying around either, otherwise this wouldn't be a problem. Exhaust leak is annoying and trashy.

thanks.

Stick a spark plug in it.

I've had one in my headers for years.

If that sounds a little too crude for you, plugs are available. K&N P/N 85-21686, or Dynomax 35299.

Used spark plugs are cheaper though.

Even a new spark plug is cheaper then the plugs sold as O2 sensor plugs. Needs to be an 18mm, unlike our cars which use a 14mm spark plug.

An Autolite 386 spark plug works.

bolt and washer. Buy a nut if you need to cut the bolt. Thread the nut on, cut the bolt, and grind it smooth, then turn the nut off. The nut will chase the threads.
