Are you sure that isn't 14014416?

That's the "good" factory '80-'86 305 head. 58cc, 1.84/1.50.

5.7 why is it that those are the good ones?
Im curioius because that is the casting of the heads that are now on my 76, "frankensine 355 engine" Ive heard that they are the good ones because they have the larger valves compared to the variety of 58cc heads and Ive heard that the are more ported compared to the other castings???? Any info would be great!

I thought you already knew it was a 305.

They are better than swirl port and smaller valve heads, that's all. They can be cleaned up for better flow, but probably still won't equal World 305's.

Also, 14014418 wasn't listed on Mortec. I'd suggest another good look - a "6" can look like an "8" in a casting number.
