Will she give me money too? What kind of 350 is it? Crate or rebuilt. If it's a crate and has a warranty be careful not to void the warranty. Is this car your daily driver?, if so you might not want too much power considering you won't have OD. What year is your car, because I'm not sure when computers came into play in our cars, but that is something you'll want to identify and handle. If you want to have more power out of the motor, I would suggest doing any head work or cam swaps while the motor is out, it will be a lot easier, not to say you can't do them while the motor is in. If you got the money I would suggest some SLP headers or go with Hooker headers, I would definately recommend the Hooker cat-back I absolutely love mine. You might want to get some suspension mods, because I doubt that the V6 came with adequate suspesion especially if you have T-tops.I'm sure others can give you some more info. as to what you should do.

Lucky SOB

You should consider upgrading the engine now while its out of the car. This makes it a whole lot easyer.
If you have echecks you are limited to smog legal parts that are not much better than stock"IMO". Do you care about fuel economy?
Do you want killer top speed or tire burning power?
Is getting a cowl hood to clear a tall power making manifold an option?

Ya, the way I see it one of two things will happen...

1. You'll end up marrying her and won't have to pay it back

2. After a awhile she'll think you're a dog and split and probably won't ever want to see you again...and hey, nothing was in writing

First of all, install sub-frame connectors. This is very important on high-powered third gens. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200, PUT IN SUB-FRAME CONNECTORS!!!

What to do with your engine is up to you, but don't spend yourself into a nasty hole. You'll hate it when the car sits because your payments are so high you can't afford gas

I'd put on and Edelbrock Performer intake, or a Weiand Stealth--the choice is yours.

Have the heads ported and polished.

Choose a suitable camshaft. Contact Comp Cams and explain what you have and the power or streetability you want. They'll have the perfect cam for your needs.

Lastly, 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 inch headers and 3 inch exhaust into a low restriction muffler with dual exits. Shorty style headers are almost the only thing workable with third gens.

And treat that gal right! Not every one of them is like the one you've got
