Custom Ram Air! Anyone try this?

This is my weekend project. I'm ditching the open element setup, and I'm going to use the dual snorkel air cleaner set up. Then I'm going to route AC ducting to the high beams, which I don't use (HID xenon is more than enough) and make an opening in the empty headlamp sockets I have, and put a small screen over the openings, for a ram air effect. I saw this done on a Chevelle in Car Craft...has anyone else here tried this?

Well..yeah. Probably hundreds of people have done that. It works fine, but the gaping hope where the high beams used to be gets to be kind of an eyesore after awhile. Just a matter of taste I suppose.

I'd use the fog light holes. They're more hidden. Also, THE MAN (law) may have something to say about no high beams. That depends on whether you have inspections in your state.
