Where is my tach filter?

It's a 90RS. I need to bypass it to get my tach to work with my MSD 6AL..at least so the instructions say.

should be on the firewall behind the intake manifold / distributor area.
this is what I was told except for the fact I still havent found mine (I think it was removed by prev owner)

I've heard that too, but there is nothing mounted back there. I've had the motor completely out, there never was anything there.

Alot of people have never found a filter on their cars. I didnt on mine. I just hooked up my 6AL, fed the white wire into the tach output on the side of the 6AL, and it works fine.

Do a search Jester. Someone supposedly got an answer to where its at (or what) besides the mounted on the firewall one. I think it was on the TPI board.

Straight up your candy... oh wait, wrong board!

If you don't see one, maybe you never had one. Could it be that only certain year cars had them? I know my 84 does/did. Maybe it has something to do with the style HEI or dash cluster you have...
