"tick tick tick tick tick", you get the point. lol
Anyway, my engine makes a ticking noise that goes along with the engine RPM's and only really appears after the engine has warmed up a few minutes and is most evident at around like 2000+ rpm's
Using a radiator hose as a sorta stethoscope (sp), everyone thats listend to it has agreed that it most likely isnt valvetrain related because it doesnt come from either side of the engine, but more towards the middle....
Cam bearing is all I can really think of, how do I tell for sure? If it is, what am I in for? Thanks,
-Chris

Is your car CC Carb?
It could just be a loose rocker arm, or a stud pulled out causing that loose rocker arm. Could also be a lifter, though I doubt it.
Could also be pinging. You are sure it's not an exhaust leak at the header gaskets?

its non CC
Reason we dont think its valvetrain related is because it doesnt seem to come from either side of the engine specificly, but more from the middle...
