throttle body question

Car: i have a 2003 ford zx2 and a 1989 f
Engine: 350 tuned port, 4 banger on the Z
Transmission: 700r4 poop loser
Axle/Gears: 3.23 standard ...one tire fire
throttle body question

i think the spring to my throttle body has brokenwhen i drive my butterfly vavle dosent return to idle speed it comes close but a couple of millimeters is enough for my car to run 800 rpms ove idle any thoughts on how to fix it or if its the spring and i jsut need to oil it ?? anythoughs would be great

There should be a minimum idle air screw on the drivers side of the throttle body.

yes i realize there is a screw tahts not the issue the throttle blade isnt returning to its origonal postion so it dosent even come to rest on the screw its the fact that the spring feels loose so it dosent rest where it needs to
