What is the rating for stock 350 (2bolt) Crank and the Rods

From what I have read, I would say at or not far past 400hp/500tq, but someone else who knows more than I do can chime in with a more accurate number.

if everything is straight and round with good oiling 400 wouldn't be a problem, 500 might be. it isn't like a hard number, but i'd start to really think about forged parts past 430 or so.

All depends on how it's put together. 400 is pretty much the limit on a stock rod, 500 on a crank. Of course, internal balancing will help a ton. Eagle rods are a good alternative to stockers and punch the max up over 500 with no worries.

you'll never know how much they can take until you break them... I've known plenty of folks making tons (500hp+) on stock rods and cranks for many many years. I also know plenty of folks who have attempted the same thing and broke soon after...

I think something like that would be more a forging problem from the factory than a horsepower problem. however if it broke, it's still broke!!
