500-600 hp, so you're planning on putting in a cage as well to run in the low 11s high 10s? otherwise try out the subframes, some 4th gens run that much power, but a roll bar wouldn't be a bad idea. i put in a 6 point, not really that bad to get in and out, and with that kind of motor i wouldn't expect daily driver out of it anyways.

600hp with some sfc's... Can you say "i got glass in my hair!!"

A 'GOOD' pair of weld in SFC's and a STB will definately help to keep the thing from twisting up like a pretzel.

But if your putting in a cage, that is going to strenghten it up pretty darn good and t-tops shouldnt be an issue.

I've never had a problem with my T-tops. I had SFC from the first day I went to the track. A few years later when I was just about to hit 11 seconds, I put in a 6 point roll bar. When I started getting into the 10's I installed a full cage.

Of course my car also isn't street legal and has a lot of interior sheet metal cut out but I've never had a problem with the T-tops. I can still take them out when working on the car to make getting in and out easier even with the full cage.

I will be putting weld in sfc's probably spohn's and at least a six point cage by a reputable welder.I like the t-tops so i am going to keep this body for my project after hearing your advice.right now i am running the original 350 and slowly building the chassis and needed to know this for when the 350 goes .
thanks to all for your time!
