please confirm my engine...
Hi all
i built this engine, it runs fine, pulls nice, just wanted to know what you think about...
396ci
AFR 210cc heads
single plane EFI intake
234/238 288/292 112LSA .565cam
10.6:1 compression..
would you say this is a nice combo, or do you think, the heads are too big?
regards

It's confirmed... it's an engine.
On the edge of a decision with those heads. I'd probably have gone with smaller heads or a bigger cam.

What rod/piston combo was used?
I shopped around for pistons for one of those once and I found that there aren't many matched rod piston sets available to fit the SBC deck height. Or at least not ones that would make it easy to tailor my CR to work with the heads I wanted to use.

holy crap you need bigger runners for that poor thing. you could go to a ~230cc int runner and still have LOTS of tq down low. what header primaries are u using?
