its fine for like 30 min. then when you shut it off and let it sit for like 15 it wont start it will crank and try to turn over but wont hit but after 10 min or so it hits and starts right up the fuel pump is working and its got me baffled I put a new ecm in it and its not throwing any codes out I suspect the map sensor,,,,,,can anyone give me some insight to this problem????oh it a 5.0 tpi 91 z28

 

Test the ignition module on the distributor they like to fail when they get hot

 

it has a new one on it

 

do you have headers? are you sure you are not heat soaking your starter?

 

no headers starter motor turns fine and starts fine just wont hit on spark..I am going to pull the ign.mod and go have it checked and I got plugs,wires,cap,rotor for ithope this fixes it,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks for the tips
