Can you provide some more info on your car? What engine does it have, what induction system, which Edelbrock intake did you put on?

They probably never reset the TV cable when everything was reinstalled...

Throttle valve cable for the transmission. It controls shift timing and firmness according to throttle opening. Changing the intake on a TBI or carbed car can alter the TV cable geometry.

Look for the thing where the cable is at for the tranny, it will make a big difference...PM me, and I will tell you how to adjust it......Took me awhile to figure it out..I thought my tranny was shot, but it was just out of adjustment...The TV tells the tranny when to shift....Tom
