Camaro doesn't want to "go"...
I have a 1990 RS with a V6. Sometimes when I'm stopped and then push on the gas it doesn't want to go. It pauses and then jumps forward, similar to someone driving a manual that doesn't really know how. That's the only thing I can think of to compare it to. It's a really random problem, doesn't always happen, sometimes it happens every stop. It seems like a fuel problem but I have no idea where to start to figure it out so if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction I would be so grateful.
I thought I got such a good deal on this car, but it's just problem after problem...

Re: Camaro doesn't want to "go"...
I gave it a full tune up when we bought the car, including the fuel filter. I checked the trouble codes and I get a 33 and a 35. I replaced the IAC valve and there was a slight improvement. But slight is very slight. I am planning on replacing all of her vaccum lines within the next week.
And she forgot to mention it's an automatic.
I know my way around a wrench, but most of my work is on old cars or motorcycles so I would appreciate all the help I can get.

make sure your wires are in good shape. I've you've got headers and don't have the wires out of the way check for burns. Best thing to do would be to use a multimeter and check to make sure they are still good inside. I've recently messed up my engine because I pulled it out of storage and it was running rough and I thought it was just timing, I adjusted that and it got a little better. but soon enough the problem came back. turns out that one of my plug wires was no good and I wasn't firing on the 8th cylinder. the plug wires are too often over looked.
