Engine Combo
Im still trying to piece together my top end for my 383 stroker but I wanted to know what you guys thought of this idea and how much horsepower you think it will come out to. I was thinking about putting The AFR 210cc heads, with a Lunati solid roller cam with 237*/243* dur. @ .050,with .566"/.578" max lift. I have a Edelbrock performer RPM intake and a Holley 750 DP on the engine right now and am going to reuse it. So what do you guys think about that combo. My only worry is because me engine was setup with piston that have a really big dome (23cc?) on them so would there be valve clearance preoblems?

I don't know the purpose of your car but you might have to run diesel fuel.
Seriously you need to check the static and dynamic compression ratios. Otherwise looks good for some serious horsepower.

Re: Engine Combo
I wanted the 64cc heads but maybe stick with 76cc because I have like 12:1 compression with 76cc heads already.

Re: Engine Combo
oh good god thats some HIGH compression.. should be putting out some good hp.. if you go with the afr 210's then i'd say around 500-525hp.. with that much compression, i would just step up the cam to the next higher, maybe even 2 higher.. the .578/.585 lift cam or the 585/.600.. not sure how piston to valve clearances are with dome pistons.. only way to find out is to assemble a motor.. what were you running before?

Re: Engine Combo
Well right now I have the 383 with stock 882 heads with the Edelbrock performer rpm cam and intake with a 750 Holley DP. I'm getting a T-56 with a SPEC stage 3 clutch so the power would work well with it. I picked that camsize due to valve clearance issues but I think I can go the next size up.
