crank fuse keeps blowing

any ideas why? that car wont start. it began after i changed the starter and new batter cables. and the crank fuse keeps blowing and i have no spark to the plugs

Do you have the right (amp) fuse for the job? Double check all the wires to make sure you did not miss something.

yeah its always been a 3 amp since ive had the car. ever time i go to start the car it cranks but no start and the fuse blows. even if its only a second.

I'm having the same issue. It doesn't blow every time i start, but it has blown twice in the course of a month.

i found the problem. the wires that go to the starter, one of them melted in half from the headers, so i fixed that and i have a starter shield on the way. so far no more blown fuse.
