Rapid oil leak, not RMS, not Sending Unit

I have a rapid oil leak running down the driver's side of the bellhousing and dripping off of it. dripping off of the slave cylinder.

pulled the inspection cover back and the flywheel is DRY. Let it run and felt all around down by the sending unit and down in there, DRY.

I pulled off the driver's side valve cover, ended up ruining it i think because it was stuck on so badly i tried to pry on it with a huge flathead screw driver, all around it but made small bends in the lip. popped it off eventually, typical burnt on gasket near the manifold side. Furthest back, furthest to outside of the car, corner of the cover is wet with oil.

So I THINK that is the culprit....if anyone else has any ideas of where oil might be leaking though, please post them up.

I want to get new polished aluminum valve covers, but can't find any non-centerbolt ones on summit or jegs. Summit has some but they're in some entire dress up kit and I just want the covers. Anyone know where I can find these? I don't want chrome.

Also any suggestions on brand of gasket and sealant?

Turns out i have 14014416 heads also, 80-86...305..........1.84"/1.5" valves, 58cc chambers, according to mortec, which is odd since I have an 87. but it explains why I don't have centerbolt....

Re: Rapid oil leak, not RMS, not Sending Unit

T5 is very very basic. I just did a swap to a T5 from a 700r4. There aren't any hard lines coming off of it at all. just some very simple wiring for the reverse lights and i think maybe neutral safety wiring but I didn't wire those.

there are two tiny steel lines coming off the passenger side of the 700r4....one going to radiator....one going to....i forget...heh.

are these the covers you were speaking of?

Re: Rapid oil leak, not RMS, not Sending Unit

ya i got them and put em in...they look great, but thats not where my leak was.

leak was back side of intake manifold, whoever put it on last didn't use enough RTV. i sealed it all up and it doesn't leak anymore.
