My car is a 1985 Iroc-Z with a 305 TPI from an 88 in it. I have spark, and the timing is set correctly. Only one side of my injectors are pulsing (problem im still trying to solve) but even after trying starting fluid it would not start. What else should i try or look into?

 

Is the car still using the 1985 ECM and harness, or was it upgraded to the 1988 ECM?

 

The ECM has been changed and as far as I know the harness has been changed also. The thing I dont get is the car was running fine the one day and stopped running right after i shut it off and it hasnt run since then.

 

The fuses for the injectors are good also.

 

Any ideas?

 

Also, i just checked the spark plug wires and they are all in the spots they are supposed to be in, so i know the firing order is right as well. Still after putting starting fluid in it, it wont even try to start.

 

Does this sound like an electrical or mechanical problem?

 

check fuel pressure and check and see if u have pwr to the side u dont hear pulsating

 

Fuel pressure is good, but it bleeds off instantly after the pump stops running. I checked all of the injectors individually on the bank that isnt pulsing and none of them lit up the noid light. Tomorrow ill check the voltage.
