Re: Wobbly Wheel

the switch is lower toward the bottom of the column, a rod runs up the left side of the column and goes to the back of the wiper switch. Must likely when you were fixing your tilt the rod wasn't put back in correctly, I had the same problem before.

Re: Wobbly Wheel

theres a little plastic rod that goes from the handle to the switch its kinda shaped like )==, if my memory serves me right, mine fell out when i had the column apart took me damn near 2 hours to fix it theres probably a bit of grease on the case that shows where it was

Re: Wobbly Wheel

The rod is held in place by the switch. If the end of the rod is already held in try making the rod longer with a pair of pliers. That way when you hit the brights there will be enough slack in the rod to click your switch

Re: Wobbly Wheel

ok my brights work before this. nothign is wrong, im trying to put the darn thing back together and i cannot get the high beam rod to connect to that plastic piece or slide into it or anything. im really confused about this thing, i dont see how it is held in place.. there wasa bow shaped spring that feel out, does that fit in there somehow?

Re: Wobbly Wheel

it's been a while so I'm not sure without seeing a pic of it, make sure the bottom of the rod is on the switch at the base of the column..
