ok so i have just entered the third gen fbody world from my former ford life and looking for the first mods that most people do. Its an all stock red iroc, 87 305 TPI motor with the 700r4 tranny and im thinking stock rear end gears. Any and all suggestions, first hand experiences and anything else accepted whether its interior, exterior, or motor mods. Thanks!!

on a 305 with tpi 3.42 would be great no more then that though just curious what kind of ford did you have must have been a real slow piece to go to a 305

 

or he picked up the 305 not caring either way lol, im swapping mine but i bought it only because it was a thirdgen and it wasnt a v6,

thirdgen noob, just a heads up....use the search feauture before you ever even attempt to ask a question, because you can get some sweet posts telling you to use it lol id suggest trying it on this question too

haha thanks guys, yea i had a 91 5.0 coupe and a 89 GT and none of which satisfied me to my needs lol pretty much all of my buddys are chevy guys (79 z28, 2000 ss, 2000 z28?, 92 rs, 89 monte ss)so it was nothing but me against the wall getting stoned everytime i came out with them. but yea im looking to do the 350 swap, so most of the bolt ons i want to get i would like them to be able to bolt onto the 350 when i put that in as well. it actually is a 89 rs v6 shell with a iroc swap, motor, tranny, rear end, interior, dash, 140mph speedo, wheels. so far im loving it!! but thanks for the suggestions and i will be sure to check out those threads!!

 

actually i think you just got the rs motor, an iroc swap would be the 350 tpibut other than that sounds like a great deal

 

or a 305.. depending on year IROCs came with LG4's L69's LB9's and L98's..
