305 with 350 computer?

is it possible for a 305 to run on a 350 computer tune? so my car was having horrible issues a while back and i took it to my mechanic, besides a few little issues non-engine related (I figured to get some stuff out of the way) we found that the computer would littlerally shut off! enough with the story but is it possible for a 305 to run on a 350 tune?

to make it a little interesting the guy i bought it off of said previous owner swapped in a 350...

The difference is the chip, not the computer.

There were different computers over the years.

If it is correct for the ECM you have, yes.

Re: 305 with 350 computer?

Removing the vale cover wouldn't necessarily reveal that. There are more than just a handful of 350s with 305 designated heads. You need to check the block casting number to verify the original bore.
