Sparkplug recommendation please

Hi!

Ive installad an MSD 8366 Distributor & MSD Blastercoil (48.000V) and MSD 8.5mm Super conductor wires. and Brand new AC Delco RJ45TS sparkplugs.

What gap shall I have on that ? right now im running in stock gap = 035"

I heard like 045" would be good ? shall I run with that or do you guys have any other recommentaions ?

And Sparkplug, I can use the RJ45TS (stock plugs) or shall I have any others ? and IF so, please give me some info about them.. There is no danger of running on the Delco ones ?! or ?!

Re: Sparkplug recommendation please

The wider the gap the higher the volts to jump across.
Old carb type coils 30-50,000 volts .035
HEI 70,000 volts .045-.060
New coil packs can kill you .080

anything from .040 to .060 or so.

BTW lawn mowers .025

GM runs Delco all the time. It is OEM stock.

The R in the part number, means it is a resister plug and it takes more volts to fire.

So if I use 045" on my RJ45TS sparkplugs will do fine then ?
No need to change to another sparkplug ?
