Cruise Control Lever And Windsheild Wiper.

The Windsheild Wipers when turned on will not turn off at first we thought that it may have been the actual lever which we replaced but the fact remains that they refuse to shut down unless the fuze is pulled or the car is shut off.

Re: Cruise Control Lever And Windsheild Wiper.

Probably the windshield wiper switch.

The turn signal/cruise stalk fastens into it inside the steering column.

Has about two feet of wires on it. It goes through the steering column (next to the turn signal wires) and plugs into a connector on the column near where your feet are.

Mine was a little over $125 new a couple years ago.

Thanks I was thinking something like that. Its inside the Steering Column assembly right? I don't know it will turn on and I can have it slow or really fast(High Setting) No delay settings or off settings unless i twist the **** out of it then its still an off chance of actually turning off have yet to find a delay reaction of any kind.

Parts stores have them. I ended up getting mine from Ebay.

Re: Cruise Control Lever And Windsheild Wiper.

Odd request but does anyone have a layout or any directions for replacing it? I mean I could but with some directions it would take half the time with alot less struggle.

Would anyone know a place where I could find a diagram for replacing the Switch? It would help greatly thanks all.

Service manual. Sorry can't be more help than that but you have to remove a LOT of stuff to get to it.
I just started taking stuff off until I got to it.
