If you're not doing any other work to it, try a Comp XE262.

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

I edited your thread title because it was in violation of the Board rules you said you read and agreed to when you signed up.

Let's not see that sort of thing again.

Re: i need a cam :help:

A cam is the last thing you need on a stock engine. With all the other little things you "should do" while the intake manifold is off, a cam swap just snowballs into a huge project. Plus you will not gain much from it when you stil have the stock intake and exhaust on it.

You should start with subframe connectors. That will really stiffen up the chassis and make it handle better. Then go with a cat-back exhaust, aftermarket catalytic converter, and then headers.

Re: i need a cam :help:

Instead of changing cams, put some roller rocker arms, headers, intake and carb. A cam by itself tends to steam roll into a big project and it won't help with out the other stuff anyway. If you feel you absolutely must change the cam, give Comp Cams tech line a call. they can give excellent advice.
