How much power?
What do you think i will be making for power? I am going to using a 1405 Edelbrock carb instead of the TBI soon. All mods are in my sig. All of the mods are on a L05 also. Also just for an idea waht do you think i would make if i went 383 stroker with the same motor with flat tops (like 10.5 comp ratio) Thanks again guys

Re: How much power?
you have around 350hp if your timing is set properly. I have a similar setup with a bigger cam and a higher compression plus a performer rpm. i might be close to 400 when i get my exhaust.
My new motor is fast, but with those highway gears its ridiculous. its a turd off the line, but drop it into second gear at 65 and it pulls to 100 in like 3-4 seconds..

350 - 360 hp, maybe a little more. It should be over 400 lbs of torque though. It will be very docile on the street too.

Re: How much power?
a 383 needs more air flow with a different intake, a bigger cam, and is your heads stock, ported or what?? The car the way it sits will make good torque, but will be done making power around 4800rpm, as it will run out of air. Stock vortec heads need to be modified if you want to run more lift in a cam...your about at the limit of lift with the cam you have for those heads. 350hp will be pretty optimistic, more in the range of 300+ if your lucky, but if you change some more stuff around, you'll get more out of it.
