In your VIN# if you have a F as the 8th digit then you should have a TPI. As long as the car still has the original engine.

If you have a carb air cleaner you have a TBI. A TBI will resemble a carb, but has 2 injectors directly over top of the throttle bores.
If you have an intake that looks like an LT1 then you have a TPI.
If you have an intake that looks like an LT1 then you have a TPI.

TBI, VIN code E, is called "LO3".
TPI, VIN code F, is called "LB9".
TPI, VIN code F, is called "LB9".

You can only have one 8th digit.It`s either or.No way to have both unless you`re refering to the F that is the fourth digit denoting body type,as in F body.That is an extremly clean engine bay you have.Very nice

im just saying you cant go after the vin blindly if you dont know what to look for because sometimes they can be tricky.
