oh and a camaro intake, that's a good thing... Not as good as a vette intake, but better then a chevette intake of course...

Somewhere between 140-360 HP is my guess. If you had some real tangible information, I could narrow that down for you....

Anyways this is a very dumb question but looking at the 350 from under the hood, is there anything that can tell me if it's a 350? Like a certain part in a certain place or not? Thanks.

 

Not really, you can dress up a 305 to look like a 350 very easily...
Looking at the very back of the block, (top, back, left) there will be a stamp, it should say 5.0L or 5.7L. That's your best bet. And/or find the casting number, that will narrow it down (but you have to look it up...)

 

can i see the numbers from the engine bay or does it have to be out the car?

 

The last 3 digits of the casting number may be cast into the side of the block, which you can see from underneath the car.

 

I'm sure when I start it up on saturday I can tell. Seems like an honest guy, he bought tons of new parts for the car, here it is by the way.
