Axle/Gears: disk rear, 10bolt.
car will take a few to shut off

ok go my motor in my l69 and it runs awsome and sounds good.. juts when i shut it off it takes a few to die. the key will be off and it takes like 5-10 sec to shut off any ideas??

look up something called "dieseling" thats what its doing.
i would explain more but theres alot that can cause it.

no its not "dieseling" it runs fine its like the key is not killing the car... i think the wiring is wrong to the alt and its feeding the hei not killing the car... no the car runs good and the carb is tuned good and timing is dead on. or the key switch it self is bad

dieseling is when the car continues to run after you cut off the ignition.

i know what "dieseling" is and its not that..... it runs the same with the key on as it does with the key off.. it just takes a few to shut off almost like when you turn your key off and it dies rightaway mine stays running for a few more secs

yes it is still sparking and running like it does regularly. still hit the gas and it raps out.

i turn the key off and i can rap it out and it runs like a it usually does..

lol on the cool down timier no not yet still workin on the turbo's

i think its the switch it self not cutting the power off and yes i am sure its still sparking
