V8 Battery Location Question....

Transmission: TH350
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Posi
V8 Battery Location Question....
I am doing a V8 conversion. The battery is on the drivers side.

Are the V8's batteries on the drivers or passengers side?

If you're talking about the car in your signature, driver side is correct. Standard is Firebirds drivers side, Camaro's passengers side, unless equipped with SLP cold air, then moved to drivers side, or rear.

Thanks. I didn't know. It looks like it could go on either side. The car was originally a V6.

I didn't know if V8's were different.
