A/C will not blow on high
A/C will not blow on high
Anybody ever have any problems with the A/C not blowing on high? All other speeds work.I have changed the relay on the passenger side of the car by the air box.I know it will work on high because I took the relay out and used a jumper wire to make it come on.As I live in the south it is quite warm without the A/C on high.Any help would be appreciated.

There's a similar question less than a week old in the COOLING section.

Check the blower resistor. Remove the plug and the fasteners. Remove it from the duct work and inspect the underside. Most likely you'll find some burned out wire coils.

Re: A/C will not blow on high
The fan's high speed doesn't go through any of the resistors. The resistors are only for the slower speeds. All they do is reduce the voltage to the fan motor.
You could try replacing the resistor block but I doubt that will fix the problem. My guess would be the fan switch itself. Some electrical diagnostics will need to be done to isolate the problem.
