Cam change, pushrod lenght
Uh oh. I have no idea what pushrods I need. I've changed to Comp cams K12-771-8 with the roller lifters that came with the kit and my roller rockers. Everything else is currently a stock 400 sbc lower end.
So the question is, how do I solve what lenght pushrods to use? Or does somebody already know the answer to this question.
Thanks a million, crew,

Re: Cam change, pushrod lenght
For most people, unless you've done drastic changes with high end performance heads, longer valves/springs etc, stock length pushrods will probably work fine. To find out the proper length, you need an adjustable checking pushrod and a lightweight checking valve spring. The Comp Cams web site has information on how to check pushrod length.
