Comp Cams 2100 would be fine, or the 3100 if you want a little better true roller.

will probably go with that one. But my crank sprocket is really stuck on there is there a special way for it to come off? And what causes crankwalk and how is it fixed?

Re: timing chain

The crank sprocket is pressed on, you'll need a puller to take it off. Crank walk is caused by a worn-out thrust bearing.

Re: timing chain

Its been a while since I took my block apart but the thrust bearing is the rear bearing. If it needs replacement you have to change all the main bearings.

Re: timing chain

Trying to change a bearing in the car would be far more trouble than it's worth. Better to pull the engine, so you can do it properly. Why do you think the crank is walking anyway? Have you measured the endplay?

There are tools to install the crank sprocket, or you can heat the sprocket and slip it on with a little juidicious tapping from a non-marring hammer.

Re: timing chain

The only way to do this right is to take it apart. No engine with 30k on it should need bearings replace. If everything looks good clean it out an reassemble it with fresh bearings.

The crank bearing set will include the thrust bearing. Its the one in the back.

Re: timing chain

There is no thrust bearing, per se. The #5 main bearing has thrust faces on it.
