How much horsepower should this setup have with a good tune?

1988 Trans Am 5.7
headers
3 in catback
slp high flow runners
58mm throttle body

you should gain about 60-80hp to the original amount. I believe that those 5.7' had about 210hp so you have about 270-290hp. However, you will loose low-end power but you should notice a good amount of power in the 4000-6000 rpm range.

If you don't mind me asking ( camaro305sb ) what's wrong with my answer. My dad had a 88 formula 350 and that car had 220hp from the factory and its the same 5.7tpi i would think.

Agreed. I think 40hp is even a bit over the top. My guess is 25 to 30hp over stock maybe.
