Re: gas in oil pan

Did you tune the carb per directions?
Mixture sounds very rich for plugs to have gas fouling.

Do an oil & filter change. Gas will wash out the bearings.

Is the fuel pump new?

(edit)
Make sure you have a good blue spark at the plugs. A yellow // orange spark is weak. A weak spark will also cause gas fouled plugs.

Re: gas in oil pan

hi there the oil pump is from a previous engine but i changed the eddy 1406 stock metering springs to the silver heavier springs thinking that would solve it cuz of the longer duration cam but now it wont start , the engine has only really started maybe 4 times since rebuild and now it wont start , what is the procedure for the AFR ?
