i just switched from a v6 to a v8, i put the v8 in the car and noticed this, how do i fix this? i dont want to take the engine out, is there a way i can just block it off and not use it? ill put my oil pressure sending unit somewhere else

 

You must get an ease-out and back that out of there. If you then want to plug it, that's up to you.

Yep an easy out should take care of that without a problem. If you dont have one you might be able to rent or use one from Auto Zone or another parts store. That's not a rock in your lifter valley is it? Good luck!!
