stock 305 tpi. performance ideas??

I just recently bought a 1988 iroc-z 5 speed with a stock 305 tpi in it. I have a decent amount of money for performance upgrades. I was just wondering what I should do. I already added a new exhaust, and headers. I don't want to do an engine swap. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Would putting new heads, cam, throttle body, and a higher flow intake base and runner really be worth the money? to actually see a big gain in performance

the biggest performance gain for the least money would be a 350. but since you dont want to do an engine swap, everything you mentioned will help out. but after all is said and done youll still be in mild 350 performance numbers. nothing very impressive. itll be fun to drive on the street, but not the animal it could be with a built 350 under the hood.

Welcome to T.G.O.!

The search box above will help you with most of your questions. You could even simply type in 305 and see what comes up. Based on what you are asking, I would start reading this read:

When I had my 305, I had a full exhaust headers to tips, a cam, and a TPIS intake and runners and it ran pretty good.
