TBI Open Element Air Cleaner

Hey guys, I've been wondering if anyone knows which open element air cleaner will fit my car. I have a 305 TBI. My only concern is whether or not the drop base units will mess with my throttle linkage or if the flat base one's will clear the hood. Can anyone give me some guidance in this area? Thanks in advance.

If you hit the search button, there should be around a thousand more treads covering this detail

Re: TBI Open Element Air Cleaner

You will have no problems with an edelbrock drop base, but with a flat base you'll need a stud extender to make it fit

I have used the summitracing flat base cleaner assembly with the stock stud. Maybe your stud was not stock?
