Can someone please tell me what this noise is?
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nxpQ5-8mp4
It happens now when I try to start it? It sounds like its about to crank and then nothing.

The noise is the starter motor.
The problem is the Bendix.

I cant hear it very well here, but is that the motor trying to start that I hear, or is that just the starter spinning?

it tries to start at first but then I think its the starter. It just recently started doing this, (yesterday) and would start before sometimes

The starter motor obviously works. He could have the unit rebuilt at a local shop.
Or he could just throw it away and order another one from China which would be faster and cheaper.
My guess is almost all of us would do the latter, and then we would sit around and complain about the economic failure of our country.
Regardless, I stand by my diagnosis.
