Re: Recommended injector upgrade for 350 tpi?
I threw in some stock LT1 injectors on my 350. Had a chip burned for my ECU since it originally had a 305. Haven't had any problems. Bought 'em used from someone on here for about $45.
Edit: I believe the LT1 injectors are 24lbs, IIRC. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. The stock 350 injectors for these cars were 21lbs I believe. Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

No, with 24 lb injectors on your 350 , you will be running too rich. You would have to turn down your fuel pressure to get it to run better. If you are going to a 350 then i would put 22lb/hr injectors on there.

The guys that run 24lb/hr Ford injectors are usually getting the chip re-burned , meaning the injector constant is adjusted in the chip (prom).
Re: Recommended injector upgrade for 350 tpi?
When you say ford, are you talking about the FMS? How much horsepower are you planning to run?
There are some companies out there that say that you do not have to burn a chip to use the 24's, however we recommend that you do.
defaced...you are correct: 24's on the LT1 , 22's for the 350

not goin too crazy with the horsepower...just an engine swap, but while the engine is out may as well get new heads and injectors in there. will 22lb ford injectors fit the 350 tpi?

I ran ford motorsport 24# blue tops at 50psi in my 89formy for many years with the stock chip and it was just fine.
O2 sensor can make changes to cover that small of a change so no need to get your panties in a wad.
However, just grab a new set from southbay.
I didn't have the option back in 92.

I have Ford 24# SVO injectors and they were great improvement over stock motec. I did change chip using moates to #24.
Ford#24 is better than stock #22.
