87 Iroc 305 stalling when put in reverse or drive.

Transmission: Automatic (700R4)
Axle/Gears: 3.23
87 Iroc 305 stalling when put in reverse or drive.
I took out my car the other day and it was pretty cold (about 30 degrees) I take it out like once a week so I let it warm up for awhile. When I put it into reverse the idle started to drop and it stalled. Started it up got it out of the garage put it into drive, idle drop, stall. I was told it could be a sensor. Anyone else have this probelm?

Awhile ago I checked and it was either 32 or 33.

I started it today and put it into drive and reverse, the idle drops very low and it was going to stall and it jumped back up. Also the car idles high. When I am not busy imo will check it and let you guys know.

Im almost certain its the EGR or a vacumm leak. Report back with your findings...

TPI parts.net. they have the updated prom for our cars,i had the same problem .found out that the original prom had bugs.this may not be YOUR problem but its worth a shot
