hello, i have a 89 trans am gta 5.7tpi the problem i have is whenever i go and start my car when cold it fires up great and runs like a champ but whenever i go and shut it off it wont start up again, when trying to start it, it cranks and it does have spark when left alone for about an hou it will start up again someone please help!!! i need this car on the road again

The ignition modules are known to cause syptoms like that.
When its acting up check for power at the red coil wire (key on), then check for flashing power on the the other coil wire while its cranking.

alright so i check for power at the red wire and hook up a spark tester to the secondary coil wire
No, test the neg. side of the coil. Use a test light, it should flash. This is what fires the coil.
okay i will try that that tommorow and post my results since all my tools are at school
okay so i tested what u told me to and when it was acting up it got 12 volts to the coil and then i tested the negative side with a test light and it flashed, i also checked to see if i was getting injector pulse i checked with a noid light and it flashed but it didnt seem like they were brite flashes, i also ohmed out my injectors and they all came out to aroun 15-17ohms hot, to continue searching for the problem i now no that i hjave spark and injector pulse so i put a fuel pressue gauge on annd it was reading 45 psi igntion on engine offand 47 psi running, so i have spark air but im not so sure about fuel so i took off the intake , sparyed starter fluid in their and boom! it started and ran beautifully!!! im really confused at what the problem is i think that it could be either a bad pcm or bad injectors
Injectors might be acting up when its hot. 1 bad one can shut down a whole bank.
i tried it again today and i ohmed the injectors cold and they were all between16-17 ohms and hot they were 16-17 but i also found out that the number 8 cyclinder is dead when i unplugged the connector from it i had no rpm change at all but the injector ohmed out fine
i found out the cylinder 8 problem turns out its a clogged injector
replaced all injectors and now it starts up every single time
