Sounds like it flooded, does it hold fuel pressure when the engine is off? The fuel pressure regulator might be torn.

When you hold pedal to the floor on EFI;
the computer shuts off the fuel because it "thinks" you are trying to clear a flooded engine
so if engine starts you are starting engine on fuel that is already in the intake

it does hold fuel pressure with motor off. and it is flooding itself out, i pulled plugs and looked, im trying to figure out y. if i pull the fuse out of a injector bank it will start off one side, it doesnt matter witch side i tryed it with both injector banks left and right, i dont hold it to the floor just hit the key and it fires off but i if you but booth fuses in, nothing unless u hold it to the floor

Re: no start unless at wot

well i went out today to try out the bad fuel idea, it was almost on empty any way, so i pumped about a gallon and ahalf out, added 6 more gallons, and after about ten minutes of it starting and dying on me, i pulled the plugs they were real wet and black, i cleaned them and put them in and tryed it and runs know like crap and missing but it would idle now and rev up, so i let it run for about an hour hoping to get some better fuel in it, then it started acting up again and wont rev up or idle again so next? i think im going to put a new fuel filter and pull all the plugs again and c what happens. has anyone else had the bad gas issue? whats the best way to get back to good?

Do a resistence test on the coolant temp sensor, compare this to the ambient temp.
You might have to change the spark plugs.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Your CTS may be crapping out on you and telling the ECM it's -200F outside, so it's dumping tons of fuel in to compensate. That's generally how they fail. After that the plugs may be too fouled to run properly. I would DEFINITELY suspect this as a very probably culprit if ALL your plugs are flooded, instead of just one, as individual injectors can fail and constantly leak fuel. Get an extra set of plugs after you think you may have found the problem.

Completely irrelevant to your problem, and very common. Do a search for the 91-92 tach fix.
